The high-performance, lightweight composite panel is made by hot-pressing a continuous glass fiber reinforced PP surface layer (CFRT sheet) and an EPP (expanded polypropylene) foam core. This material combines the excellent cushioning properties of EPP with the high-strength surface characteristics of CFRT.
What is EPP Foam?
EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) foam is a high-performance polymer material. Made from polypropylene (PP) through physical foaming, it combines lightweight, high strength, heat and chemical resistance, and recyclability.
Continuous Fiberglass Reinforced PP Sheet
It is a high-strength thermoplastic composite sheet made of polypropylene (PP) as the matrix resin and continuous glass fibers as the reinforcement, produced through a continuous hot-pressing process. Unlike traditional short-fiber or fabric-reinforced materials, the continuous fibers are oriented and distributed in a specific direction within the sheet, providing greater strength, stiffness, and fatigue resistance.
