Telecom shelters, also known as communications shelters, are mobile cabins specifically designed to house telecom equipment (such as switches, servers, routers, and power supply systems), providing a protected environment for their stable operation. Since telecom equipment is deployed outdoors, telecom shelters shield it from exposure to sunlight, rain, snow, hail, sand, dust, and harassment by various animals.
TOPOLOGROUP prefabricated FRP panel telecom shelters provide a reliable, cost-effective, and long-lasting solution for protecting critical telecommunications infrastructure.
☑ Customizable Design: These shelters can be customized in size and thickness upon request.
☑ Quick and Easy Installation: Pre-fabricated panels are delivered ready for assembly, allowing for faster setup.
Why Choose FRP Panels Instead of Metal Panels for Telecom Shelter Construction?
FRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic), also known as GRP, is a composite material made of a polymer matrix and glass fibers. In the field of composite panels, it is used as the outer skin material.
☑ Lightweight: FRP panels are lighter than traditional metal materials, reducing the overall weight of the shelter and making transportation and installation easier.
☑ Durability: FRP has excellent waterproof and corrosion-resistant properties, allowing it to be used for long periods in outdoor environments, with a lifespan far exceeding that of steel materials.
☑ Safety: FRP has good anti-static properties, reducing the risk of damage or failure of the equipment.
☑ Better Temperature Control: The superior thermal insulation properties of FRP sandwich panels help maintain a stable internal temperature within the telecom shelter, making it adaptable to various climate conditions.
Shelter Structure:FRP Sandwich Panel + Steel Frame

FRP Sandwich Panels
The outer skin is made from UV-resistant FRP sheets, which do not discolor or fade, are waterproof, and highly durable. The core material is rigid thermal insulation foam (commonly XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) foam), which is critical for maintaining a stable internal temperature in the telecom shelter.
- Thickness: 20-150mm.
- Maximum length of a single panel: 12m.
- Maximum width of a single panel: 3.2m.
- Surface color: RAL or Pantone series.

Steel Frame
The frame is made of high-strength steel and is galvanized or painted to enhance its corrosion resistance, ensuring a service life of more than 20 years even in harsh outdoor conditions.
- Grades: Q195, Q235, Q345.
- Connection methods: Bolts, welding.
