Air Duct Board
Home » Applications » Building Solutions
Air duct board play a vital role in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Recent innovations and various factors have led to a technological revolution in air ducting. The pre-insulated system is a proven, easy-to-use and innovative product that eliminates virtually all of the problems associated with traditional metal pipes.

Air Duct Board With Double-sided Aluminum Foil
The evolution of air duct board in HVAC systems has significantly improved efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness as new insulation materials have come to market. Prefabricated double-sided aluminum foil air duct board (including phenolic, PUR, and XPS foam options) offers superior thermal conductivity and ease of installation compared to traditional metal duct. These advancements not only reduce energy costs, but also improve the overall performance and durability of the HVAC system, and provide better protection and decoration for the entire HVAC system.

Air Duct Board Product Introduction

PUR Foam With Aluminum Foil
PU foam air ducts are composed of polyurethane (PU) insulation foam combined with aluminum foil on both sides. The outer layer of the board is high-purity aluminum foil, and the middle layer is rigid polyurethane foam. PU foam board air ducts are thermally insulated, waterproof and moisture-proof, but the overall strength is limited and slag is easy to fall off.

XPS Foam With Aluminum Foil
XPS (Extruded Polystyrene) foam has the characteristics of high thermal resistance, low linearity, and low expansion ratio. Combined with double-sided aluminum foil, it can better lock in heat and achieve long-lasting insulation. In addition, it has extremely excellent compressive strength. This high compressive strength ensures that the XPS foam panel can withstand huge pressure and greatly extend the service life of the air duct.
